Why convert a CSV file to XLSX?
CSV is excellent for exchanging plain tabular data, but an Excel workbook is more convenient when you want filters, formulas, cell formatting, charts, frozen rows or multiple sheets. Converting the file gives you a standard workbook you can continue editing without manually importing the CSV each time.
What the conversion preserves
The converter carries the CSV table values into one Excel worksheet. Because CSV itself does not contain workbook formatting, formulas, multiple sheets or styles, those features cannot be recovered from the source file. They can be added normally after opening the generated XLSX file.

Will CSV formatting be preserved?
CSV files store table values, not Excel formatting such as colors, formulas, merged cells or multiple worksheets. The XLSX output contains the CSV values in a normal worksheet that you can format in Excel afterward.
Can I convert CSV files with non-English text?
UTF-8 CSV files, including files with Korean and other non-English text, are supported by modern browsers. If an older CSV uses a legacy character encoding, convert or resave it as UTF-8 first if the text appears garbled.
